How is this different from a public temp-mail site?
Public services force a permanent decision (delete) on temporary information (whether you'll need the address later). Perenmail keeps every inbox by default and is registered-only and private — no one else can read or guess your address.
Why do persistent inboxes matter for testing?
Delayed and cron-scheduled email — trial reminders, digests, background-job notifications — fires long after you've moved on. On a disposable inbox it's gone forever. Here it's waiting for you.
Is it meant for signing up to other websites anonymously?
No. Perenmail is built for developers doing manual email testing of their own products — private addresses, no public inbox browsing. It's deliberately not a throwaway service for spam avoidance.
